April - I think we both know now that you are a liar and that you have boyfriends abundant.
Bong - My cat is not my child. I will not be posting cute and funny things that he does. I'm sure I couldn't get his fat ass into a single picture frame anyway.

Blogalicious
Hey. You know what we should have on this blog? Pictures. Like, pictures of Kristine's baby. Or...pictures of all of April's boyfriends. Or...pictures of all the sluts that WANT to be April's boyfriend. Or we can just stick to pictures of Kristine's baby.

Check it out
Hey Chicks.
Couldn't resist giving you a little blog that warms my heart and makes me giggle pretty much every time I read it. And I think you irreverant mothers will like it as much, if not more than I do.
Try this: www.zoloftmom.blogspot.com
Can't wait to hang out in a couple of weeks!

Joseph Nathaniel Dorn is here!
So Im late posting this due to our travels and overall craziness of the last week and a half. Some of you have already heard of Joseph's early arrival, but here's the story as I know it. I do not swear to the accuracy of the details however, because I was out of my mind tired when Meeg relayed them all to me:) Here goes...
Meeg was due to have the baby on Sept 12th. Because her first 2 deliveries were fairly quick and because the baby was very low already, her doctor had predicted a fast delivery with this one. She also had been having random strong contractions for months prior to delivering. Anyway, the week before Joey arrived, Meeg was really sick. Her kids had been sick, so she assumed she had a nasty virus from them. When she began having a fever, she went to the doctor and he said that he thought she had viral meningitis. This can only be confirmed by a spinal tap, which he did not recommend since she was 8 months pregnant and the diagnosis would at most mean fluids and rest- which he did recommend.
About mid day on Sat (after being rather sick the previous 2 days) Meeg started having some strong contractions about 7-8 minutes apart. Not convinced that it was labor, she took a bath on Nates suggestion. While in the tub, she started to moan and Nate realized that it might actually be the real thing. He called the doctor who told them to come in right away, and then ran the kids to the neighbors. While he was gone, (and this part is fuzzy to me because it was fuzzy to Meeg) apparently Meeg moved to the living room and was started to feel like bearing down! Nate came in a called 9-1-1, explaining that he thought he wife might deliver VERY soon and that she was 4 1/2 weeks early and didnt know if the baby would be breathing when he came out or not. With the operators instructions he quickly gathered some towels and sheets for the floor. Meeg couldnt wait to push and on the 3 push or so the head began to crown, just as the paramedics came through the door to deliver the baby! Thankfully, the baby came out crying and was fine. They got them ready and took them all to the hospital to recover from the craziness. Joey (who actually didnt have a name for the first day) had some temp issues initially since he was out a about right after birth, but quickly stabilized. He nursed great right away and is perfect. He weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz....makes me wonder if her due date was accurate! A hefty boy for being so early! I think she said he was 19 in...
Meeg and Nate and kids are doing great and adjusting well. Nate was suppose to do a huge experiment the week Joseph was born so he has to rearrange that, but otherwise, everything is good. Nate is THRILLED to have a boy as you can imagine. They say he doesnt look like the girls but has his own look....Im sure handsome.
Does this make 13 gunson kids?! Oh my goodness.

Newest Gunson Member
As Jen is still in Pittsburgh and has been unable to send out an email, I thought it should be posted on the blog that Meegan had her baby this weekend. Not only did she deliver Joseph Nathaniel 4 weeks early, but she delivered him on her living room floor. I'll let Jen post the details, but WOW! What a woman!

Addendum
Oh, and Bonga is right. I'll be in Ireland/Portugal starting August 22 through September 3rd. So that week is out. :)
Reunion
I look forward to the day when you are all mothers of teenagers. I'll get to be the cool auntie to whom all your kids will complain about the uncoolness of their mothers. Don't worry I'll tell them the truth.
Reunion - Yes, you are all welcome to come to Chicago, bearing in mind I have a TINY apartment. (Bong can attest to this.) And then I think in addition we should look into a cottage type deal. That's my vote. I really enjoyed the days of lounging around a little cottage, making meals together, walking around a little town, etc. And I would also like it because I believe it to be a slightly cheaper option, which, would be good for me at this point considering the fact that most of my moulah is tied up in a financial plan and the money that IS available to me at this point is running low due to the year of school I just endured and the fact that my brother decided to live in Ireland. Naturally, I'm open to anything, but I thought I'd throw my two cents out there since we are starting a discussion.
Love you girls, missing you!

The Reunion...and babies
Congrats Kristine on the pregnancy. Now we can all see whether our hypothesis of Denlinger children being beautiful is true or not. ;)
Today we had a security system installed in our house..This is rather exciting after we had a gang shooting in the park close to our house last month and ended up with one of the vicitims on our roof. It's amazing how many police officers will fit in our upstairs hallway! Although I believe it was a freak incident, its slightly comforting to hear the beep beep, every time we open a door, and at least know that I will not have teenagers sneaking out of the house someday!
Onto another random topic, here are some future ranch staff in the making. As you can see, Isaak now has the same healthy respect for horses that I have. Unfortunately, Pepper is no longer around to comfort him:)

Anyways, when shall we try for a reunion? I'm up for anything, Ohio, Chicago, some lakeside town, etc. Kone and I talked briefly about a girls weekend in Chicago, which would not count as the reunion-maybe in August?? Although I know Kone is heading off to Ireland sometime that month...Otherwise maybe we'll have to wait until the fall..I'd love to hang out soon though!!! Let's not let the discussion die out!

Master Koning
Well, ladies. I am so excited to tell you that I finally, after the year from hell, have my Master's Degree. I will now need to be addressed as Master Kone. However, since you are all my beloved friends, I will not require a bow from you when we meet in public.
Hail to the Master!
Or the Queen. Whatever you prefer.

Summer Fun
Well, I definitely feel like a clueless fool with this blogging stuff (Kev is laughing at me for doing this). We will see how it goes for me.... back in my day we just used the good old fashioned US Mail to communicate. HA.Well, believe it or not, it has been a busy summer for the Bormes 4. May flew by, June is almost there and I just can't wrap my arms around July or August at this point. We spent a week in MN with the family and celebrated the wedding of the century... Chad (Kev's brother) finally found a mate. It was fun (a little bit of drama but oh-well). The boys and I have found time to play... since all I do is sit around and eat bon-bons now that I am a stay at home mom. The picture is at the Meijer Children's Gardens.... a favorite place to frequent for us. Note to self, high speed Internet is needed in order to play the blogging game... I knitted a sweater in the time it took to upload my picture. Yes, Kone... I can hear the dinosaur noise as I type... but us rednecks are not as privileged as you all city folks. ;o)
Cam turned 3 in March and is too smart for me.... Tanner will be 1 at the end of June and too quick for me. I am definitely out numbered by Bormes boys.
I am definitely up for a girl's weekend as well.... Tanner should hopefully be out of his "momma boy stage" in the near future. Location is not my top priority... just seeing whom ever can be there and feeling the love.

Summer Fun!

Some summer fun at our new (well almost a year old now!) house. Wes continues to be all boy and then some. Brooke is my sweet peaceful balance. Everyone is welcome to come for an Ohio adventure. We have a spare room and lots of fun things to do. Might be a fun and affordable getaway for this summer. Love, Jp

A picture of my baby

Hi girls. I too am up for a reunion. Anywhere is fine, and I'm feeling more of a weekend in the fall kind of thing. Like Columbus Day weekend. Anyway, I just thought I'd share a picture of my own baby. His name is Hazel. Oh right. And my friend Jen is in the picture too. But I guess that's appropriate considering the fact that everyone in Roatan thought we were lesbian lovers. Whatever. It's not the first time I'm sure, nor the last.
Love this!
Great idea Jesse! I don't have any pictures to add right now, but I think the way you add a picture is to click on the little image of a photo on the upper left corner of the "posting box" while you are creating a post. Does this make sense? It would be so much easier if you could all see what I'm talking about-"It's right there!":) Anyway, while you are typing you can see an icon of a checkmark and an abc, and then a photo....Ok, enough of the tutorial...
I am up for a reunion...What about another Chicago attempt this summer? I'm up for the cottage thing again too. I think Meeg is due sometime around early September, so maybe Florida could be an option next winter? I guess it will be more tricky for me to travel during the school year next year (during the week), not only because I don't have many childcare options but also because Annika is starting Kindergarten in the fall-everyday! I'm sure the same will be the case for Meeg. I will probably be limited to weekends or summer...That way JJ can watch my kids. I think there are some great cities in Ohio as well....Saugatuck or SouthHaven would be fun....
Ok, I'm done!

The newest Gunson Gal
Luci Joy is happy to be called a Gunson Rose! Cant wait for you all to meet her! Great idea of a council blog Jesse!
I would love a reunion in the fall...things should settle down by then! Megan is due early Sept and then is going to home-school Adriana so Im sure she will not be able to make it. Sad. We should really push for a mini reunion with her around Christmas if they are coming north...
Im up for any location. You all are welcome to come here if that option is attractive. I could kick out the hubby and Jonas for a weekend and everyone could have their own bed I think...
There are lots of things to do here and I could also arrange a baby-sitter so that those of us with little ones can leave them behind for a few hours of girl time out on the town! Just an option, but like I said, Im really up for anything!
Love and miss you all!

Council Reunion
When and where is the next council reunion? We should start thinking now so we can get the best deals. End of October is always a nice time but I already know I can't do the weekends of Oct 6 or 20. MLK weekend was nice to b/c it was an extra day off for some and who really travels then? Getting back to Lake Michigan would be nice but I am up for anything. When is Meegan due with number 3? You wouldn't have to twist my arm to go back to Florida. However I would twist my own arm off before going back to the Carousel. Ha.
